TYPES of EMPLOYMENT
Type 1
W2 FULLTIME
Payroll:
Employee is directly on the client’s payroll
Benefits:
Employer handles taxes and benefits such as health insurance, PTO (paid time off), 401K, and more.
H1B Sponsorship:
Potential to provide the H1B Sponsorship
Type 2
W2 CONTRACT
Payroll:
Employee is directly on the client’s payroll or in a third-party payroll.
Benefits:
Not eligible for benefits of health insurance, PTO (paid time off), 401K, and more; depends on the client.
Contract Duration:
Short-term contracts are 3-6 months, extendable; long-term contracts are 9-12 months, extendable.
Type 3
C2C CORP TO CORP
Contract:
Contract between two corporations, not individuals.
Taxes:
Employer pays taxes on behalf of their consultants or candidates.
Benefits:
Not eligible for accommodation & benefits.
Type 4
C2H CONTRACT TO HIRE
Contract Period:
Set period of time on contract basis.
Full-time Employment:
After the contract period, becomes a full-time employee if deemed a good asset for the company.
Observation:
Under observation of higher authority during the contract period.
